Creating this program was a great experience because it taught me a variety of things about program development, instructional design, evaluation, and assessment. It also helped me to grow as a professional.
This was my first time designing a program like this. I was fortunate that I was able to design this program while I was taking both program development and instructional design courses. Being able to take what I was learning in class and directly apply it to my work on this made the ideas so much easier to grasp. I feel it also helped the design of the program because I was following a series of steps that we were going through in class.
I grew a lot as a professional while designing this program because I was working collaboratively with others from my office. This was a good experience because I was able to learn about the different dynamics that come with working collaboratively in a non-classroom setting.
